Brocade Knot 04
This necklace is my take on Chinese knots, which are typically used for good luck, protection, and decoration. The pendant was loosely inspired by the brocade knot, a knot shaped like a five petal flower, with each petal being carefully hand woven to its center, symbolizing balance and completeness. The five petals also signify the Fibonacci sequence, a pattern seen repeatedly throughout botany, anatomy, and chemistry. The number five is a fundamental building block of nature, and the five petals can be recognized as these blocks, allowing the owner to become more in tune with themselves and the natural world.
